When a Baby or Child has Died

  • Miscarriage Support - a team of volunteers of various ages who have all experienced the loss of  babies and would like to provide emotional support and information for women and their families during and after miscarriage and subsequent pregnancies. www.miscarriagesupport.org.nz/
  • Sands NZ (Stillbirth and Newborn Death Support). A voluntary, parent-run, non-profit organisation set up to support parents and families who have experienced the death of a baby. www.sands.org.nz
  • SIDS NZ  in a ntaional organistaion of parents, famailies and friends of chidlren who have died suddenly and/or unexpectedly of any cause, including SIDS. www.sids.org.nz
  • Twin Loss NZ - A New Zealand wide group for those who have lost one or more or all of their twins, triplets or more from early pregnancy to childhood and beyond, including the loss of a twin sibling in adulthood.  www.twinloss.org.nz
  • Christchurch Multiple Birth Club Bereavement Support offers all families practical resources, creating of tangible keepsakes and emotional support before, during or after the birth and bereavement of a pregnancy, baby or infant twins, triplets or high multiples.
