About me

"As a counsellor deeply committed to mental health and emotional wellbeing, I have seen firsthand the transformative impact of compassionate support during life's most challenging moments. Skylight Trust's mission to walk alongside individuals and whānau navigating grief, trauma, and loss strongly aligns with both my personal values and professional experience.

Through my work in private practice, and previously across medical settings, schools, and online mental health services, I have supported children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of challenges. I am passionate about contributing these clinical insights to help inform strategic decisions that ensure Skylight continues to deliver responsive, inclusive, and evidence-informed services. Serving on the Board provides an opportunity to contribute to an organisation whose mission I deeply respect and to give back to the community in a meaningful way."
